 We purchased Bruno as a
proved herd sire from Steve & Joanne Chastain. Our only regret is
that we didn't purchase him a year earlier. He is a moderate framed
bull, throwing small clean fronted calves that develop
tremendous muscle expression. He's trailer loads easily in the
field, and has proven to be an extremely aggressive breeder. In '04
he live covered his 35 cows in 45 days, and went directly into an
another herd where a leased bull had proven sterile. He sired sixty
calves over a 90 day period, under summer range conditions. In our
cow herd, we're getting 30% polled, the majority red. We consider
him the ultimate bull for first calf heifers.
